The Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufa’i has admitted that the Faculty of Agriculture should not have been one of the four faculties suspended by the Federal Government at the University of Abuja, on Tuesday.
She said this at a meeting with representatives of students at the Ministry on Thursday.
According to her, while the decision to suspend courses in the Health Sciences such as Medicine and Veterinary Medicine as well as engineering were subject to review, the suspension of the Faculty of Agriculture was done in error.
